A native Baltimorean, Tyra Phillips provides Gospel Grace listeners with up to date information on services and events being held in local churches, as well as those in surrounding areas. She delivers the church announcements each week with diction, enunciation, and enthusiasm. Tyra has a BA degree in English from the University of Maryland Baltimore County and is also a graduate of the Broadcasting Institute of Maryland and has been member of the Gospel Grace Team since 1989.She loves to read and bowl. You can also find her singing in the choir at the First Apostolic Faith Church. “Having therefore obtained help of God, I continue unto this day,” is what she will tell you as she strives to become a better person and be happy each day.
