WEAA's Julius White has the local news: Morgan State University is advising students to avoid a gas station near campus, after two shootings occurred there in the last week. State's Attorney Marilyn Mosby has issued a statement regarding the arrest of one of her staffers, Patrick Moran,  for distributing and possessing child pornography. And Baltimore’s Downtown Partnership wants to pay additional city police to patrol the Inner Harbor.

WEAA's Julius White has the local news: Baltimore State's Attorney Marilyn Mosby is calling for changes in the ways police misconduct cases are investigated and prosecuted. In response to Mosby’s proposals, Police Commissioner Kevin Davis said in a statement that “the department will consider all recommendations that serve to improve our processes and enhance our reputation in the community.”

WEAA's Julius White has the local news: Five of the six officers charged in the death of Freddie Gray filed a suite against State's Attorney Marilyn Mosby. Yesterday during a motions hearing, the judge dismissed three of the claims. And, Baltimore Police have reported that the gun shot wound suffered by an officer pursuing car jacking suspects in Cherry Hill was self inflicted — the officer was struck in the hand when the gun accidentally discharged.

Julius White has the local news: with rain projected for the next few days, there is a flood advisory in effect for Baltimore. Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake has responded to State's Attorney Marilyn Mosby's criticisms in the New York Times Magazine, where Mosby accused Rawlings-Blake of delivering misinformation following Gray's death. Baltimore schools will expand their breakfast program with funding from a DC nonprofit, Share our Strength.
