2 contractors injured in partial row home collapse
BALTIMORE (WEAA) — Baltimore City fire officials say two contractors were injured when the vacant building they were working on partially collapsed.
The incident happened Tuesday morning around 10:30 on East Biddle Street.
According to the Baltimore firefighters union, the contractors were working on the second floor when a chimney collapsed, causing one of them to fall into the basement.
One person was transported to the hospital in serious condition, the other suffered minor injuries.
Shortly after 10:30, BCFD responded to the 1700blk of E. Biddle St. for a reported bldg collapse. #BCFD FFs were notified that 2 contractors were trapped inside.
