‘She had no love for them’: Grandmother of children found dead in trunk remembers grandchildren

BALTIMORE, MD (WEAA) — Michelle Johnson, the maternal grandmother of two children found dead in a trunk in Baltimore County, joins Two Way Talk. 
 

According to Baltimore County Police, during a traffic stop on July 28, officers found the bodies of two children, 7-year-old Joshlyn Johnson and 5-year-old Larry O’Neil in a trunk.

The driver and aunt of the children, 33-year-old Nicole M. Johnson, was arrested and charged.

In a powerful and emotional interview, Johnson reflects on happy memories with the children, conversations she had with her daughters who “pretended” the children were okay and how she even pleaded for custody of her grandchildren when she sensed they were in danger.
