BALTIMORE, MD (WEAA) — After nearly 18 months, students are returning to the campus of Morgan State University.
On Monday, thousands of students, faculty and staff were able to enter university buildings with new COVID-19 requirements in place.
“In the wake of many tough decisions that have been made along the way, including mandating vaccinations for everyone here at Morgan, we have finally reopened our campus. And for those few among us who were granted medical and religious exemptions, these exacting but necessary measures, including requiring a rigorous testing cadence of twice per week for all unvaccinated individuals, are all to safeguard our campus community, “ said University President Dr. David Wilson.
All individuals, including students, faculty and staff must wear face coverings while inside university buildings.

Anyone who fails to comply will be asked to leave. Further violation will result in progressive discipline.
This year, Morgan saw a record number of applications submitted (15,000) and admitted its largest incoming class of new students (more than 2,300) in history.
