(Baltimore, MD) -- A former karate instructor in the Baltimore City Schools is under arrest and charged with sexually abusing minors.
Police have taken into custody 56-year-old Stephen Kenion on charges of having sexual relationships with minors dating as far back to 2009.
Investigators say an anonymous tip led to an investigation involving a victim who is now 16 years old.
Kenion was a contractual karate instructor at Cherry Hill Elementary-Middle School from 2010 to 2012.
He was then hired as a vendor to teach martial arts in city schools in 2020.
Kenion remains on administrative leave pending a full investigation into the allegations.
