(Baltimore, MD) -- Baltimore Mayor Brandon Scott is talking about his administration's gun violence prevention strategies for the new year.
Speaking at a public safety press conference, Scott said they want to continue to target illegal guns by going after straw purchasers, gun traffickers and those who sell guns that they know will end up on the streets of Baltimore.
Homicides decreased in Baltimore by more than 20 percent last year and non-fatal shootings were down by more than six percent.
