(Sterling, VA) -- The National Weather Service is putting parts of the Baltimore area under a winter storm watch starting late tonight, including Northern Baltimore, Northwestern Harford, Carroll and Frederick counties.

Forecasters say rain is expected to change to snow between 5 a.m. and 7 a.m. Tuesday, with heavy snow possible at times.
Forecasters say around five inches of accumulation is possible.
Also, the wet snow and gusty winds could lead to downed trees and power lines, resulting in isolated power outages.
