A new poll shows more Marylanders believe the country is moving in the right direction when compared to their thoughts in February.
The Gonzales poll indicates that statewide, 50 percent of the registered voters surveyed say the country is moving in the right direction with 45-percent saying it's not.
That compares to 41-percent saying the right direction in February, and 45-percent saying the wrong direction.
Seventy-one-percent of Democrats responded right direction, 14-percent of Republicans did and 41-percent of Independents said the right direction.
The poll was conducted between August 24 and August 30.
