(Greenbelt, MD) -- Day two of jury selection is underway in former Baltimore State's Attorney Marilyn Mosby's federal perjury trial in Greenbelt after a delay due to security concerns.
The court posted a notice saying the courthouse was temporarily closed after a police dog alerted on a vehicle near the courthouse entrance.
The courthouse reopened after officials said the situation was resolved and there was no danger to the court.
Mosby is accused of lying in order to take a COVID hardship withdrawal from her city retirement account to buy a pair of Florida vacation homes.
She's facing a second federal trial on charges of making false statements to get more favorable interest rates on mortgage loans.
