Baltimore City Community Action Partnership launches rental assistance program

Baltimore City Community Action Partnership (CAP) will launch its Rental Assistance Program on June 27 by hosting an intake event at Morgan State University's Student Center (located at 1700 East Cold Spring Ln, 21251).

The Rental Assistance Program has limited funds to help income-qualifying families in the City with a court-ordered eviction on or after July 12, 2019. Baltimore City CAP administers the program that includes self-sufficiency case management to keep families stably housed. Residents must register online at BCCAPRentalAssistanceProgram.eventbrite.com to participate in the event and bring copies of the following documents for all household members.

Photo ID

Social Security Card

Copy of Current Lease (signed by the landlord and tenant)

Landlord Contact Information

Proof of Income (received in the last 30 days)

Eviction Notice or Warrant of Restitution (eviction date must be on or after July 12, 2019)

During registration, residents can choose to attend the first session that begins at 8:30 a.m. or the second session at 1 p.m. Event registration is required; slots are limited. Unfortunately, walk-ins will not be accepted.
