City police investigating a Northeast district quadruple shooting

The shooting happened early Friday at approximately 3:13 a.m. Investigators say citizen flagged down a patrol officer to respond to a residence in the 1600 block of East 29th Street. 

Responding officers discovered an unidentified deceased female suffering from gunshot wounds inside the location. Two additional victims suffering from gunshot wounds were also located at the residence. A 23 year-old male and a female yet to be identified, both were transported to area hospitals.

Moments later, a 22 year-old female that lives at the East 29th Street residence walked into an area hospital, also in need of treatment for gunshot wounds. Homicide detectives responded to the location and assumed control of the investigation. Investigators learned that officers had been at the location at 11:40 p.m., on August 29, 2019, in reference to a dispute.
