BALTIMORE, MD (WEAA) — Gospel superstar Kirk Franklin is facing backlash after his 32-year-old son, Kerrion released explicit audio of their personal phone conversation. 
 

Farajii Muhammad weighs in on the responsibility and accountability of a family unit. “It is important that Black men know how to handle situations with Black boys.”

Kerrion explained why he released the audio on an Instagram post,

"This is why I’m done. No father should speak to their children like this. If I have any issues it’s because Of this type of treatment that ii deal with behind closed doors. Hanging up in my face, No apology, no compassion, no effort. "

Farajii says, “We have to stop normalizing trauma.”
