Harford County Authorities on scene of fatal shooting at an Aberdeen Business Park

An official says three people have been killed in a shooting Harford County, Maryland.  The site is believed to be a Rite Aid Distribution Center. The law enforcement official has knowledge of the shooting but wasn't authorized to discuss details by name and spoke on condition of anonymity to The Associated Press. NBC News reports  their sources in law enforcement say the shooter is "down" and that the shooter is woman. The Harford County Sheriff's Office will hold a press conference at 11:45. 

The Harford County Sheriff’s office reports that deputies were dispatched at 9:09 a.m. to the reported shooting at a business park in the area of Spesutia and Perryman Road. On Twitter, the Sheriff’s office confirmed there were multiple victims.

Governor Larry Hogan issued a statement regarding the situation in Aberdeen. “We are closely monitoring the horrific shooting in Aberdeen,“ said Hogan. "Our prayers are with all those impacted, including our first responders. The State stands ready to offer any support."

Calling the situation “fluid,” the Harford County Sheriff’s office is asking the public to avoid the area until the all clear is given. So far, most schools in the area have not been placed on lockdown. We’ll continue to follow this developing story and bring you the very latest updates.
