Baltimore police are investigating a hit and run that left an officer injured. The officer was hit by an SUV in the 300-block of South Monroe Street at Wilheim Street Friday afternoon during a foot pursuit.
The unidentified officer was hospitalized with injuries to his arm and leg. His injuries are not considered life-threatening. The driver of the car took off from the scene. Police did not say if the vehicle was involved in a crime or involved in the initial pursuit.
