Today With Dr. Kaye: Mayor Scott addresses Baltimore violence, education system, vaccine equity

BALTIMORE, MD (WEAA) — Baltimore Mayor Brandon Scott joins Dr. Kaye to address a number of issues affecting city residents. 

“My heart goes out to all the young people and families that are broken and left to pick up the pieces of lives that, in that case, never reached full potential and others that will be forever changed and traumatized…” - Mayor Brandon Scott. 

 

Mayor Scott discusses the recent shootings involving children, accountability within the education system and vaccine distribution. 

 

The mayor also addresses changes needed within communities as well as city government in order to make Baltimore a safer city.
