Today With Dr. Kaye: The significance of 9 minutes and 29 seconds

BALTIMORE, MD (WEAA) — Dr. Kaye reflects on the trial of Derick Chauvin, the former Minneapolis police officer charged in the death of George Floyd. 
 

Prosecutors on Monday, said Chauvin knelt on Floyd’s neck for 9 minutes and 29 seconds, correcting the 8:46 timing that was initially reported. 

 

“We are going to talk about the persistent, stubborn nature of racism. We are going to talk about the path toward redemption….We are going to talk about how there can be no forgiveness without justice…” - Dr. Kaye
