It’s Fat Tuesday! Mardi Gras! But in Latin America — it’s Carnaval! You probably have seen or heard some of the styles from Brasil, whose Carnaval in Rio is world famous. However, tonight, in a special student produced segment, we travel throughout Latin America and get to know the music and the traditions surrounding Carnaval.
Join us on this musical journey, along with a group of high school seniors from the Institute of Notre Dame as we share these afro-latino sounds from around the continent on this Tuesday of Carnaval. Plus, we remember the music of Tito Rodríguez
