Two men dead, woman injured in separate overnight shootings in Baltimore

Investigators say officers responded to the 5100 block of Harford road at approximately 11:40 p.m. for a report of a shooting. It was there, they found a man with gunshot wounds to his body. He was pronounced dead on the scene. His identity has yet to be released.

A second victim, a 28 year-old female, was also located suffering from gunshot wounds to the legs. She was taken to an area hospital where she is listed in stable condition. Anyone with information is to contact police at 410-396-2100 or Metro Crime Stoppers at 1-866-7lockup.

City police are investing a shooting that happened early this morning.  Investigators say at approximately 6:06 a.m., patrol officers responded to the 3900 block of Ridgewood Avenue for a report of a non-responsive male. Upon officers arrival, they found a man who had shot been in the head medics responded to the location and pronounced the victim dead on the scene. Anyone with information to contact them or Metro Crime Stoppers No word on the decedent’s identity.

Also, police say a shooting from 27 years ago is now officially ruled a homicide.

Police say the shooting that occurred on February 21, 1992, in the 1300 block of Homewood Avenue. The victim, Sheraton McElwee, 47, of the 5100 block of Anthony Avenue, due his injuries, died March 25, 2019. His body was taken to the Medical Examiners office for an autopsy where it was ruled a homicide on June 25.
