Cayla Cade is a junior multimedia journalism major at Morgan State University.
Before attending Morgan, she was a communications major with a concentration in journalism at George Mason University where she acted as an anchor for the school's station and wrote for the student newspaper.
Cade earned an editorial internship at H.B Lighthouse and attended a workshop at Howard University Multimedia Journalism Workshop, sponsored by Dow Jones Fund.
She also attended the Urban Journalism Workshop at NPR and American University for two years.
Cade is currently an intern at WEAA, reporter for the The MSU Spokesman, and is a Bear-TV member.
After college, she plans to continue her dreams as a journalist by writing for newspapers, starting her own podcast, and anchoring for a news station.
Cade also plans to have her own talk show one day.
