The Hip-Hop Chronicles Presents: Baltimore City Mural- Wall of Pride

Mike Nyce, host of WEAA’s Hip-Hop Chronicles, explores the history, art and culture behind the many vibrant murals painted around Baltimore City.

 
In this episode, Wall of Pride, Shawn James, a professional muralist and founder of Mural Masters Incorporated shares the “passion, heart and idea” behind the powerful painting on North Carey Street in West Baltimore. 

The mural, which represents African American heritage and leaders, took multiple artists three years to complete.
