Oprah Winfrey to join Associated Black Charities for virtual event

Associated Black Charities will host global media leader, philanthropist, producer, and actress Oprah Winfrey to conclude Equity First, its four-part virtual speaker series addressing employment equity.

Diane Bell-McKoy, President and CEO of the Baltimore-based non-profit will lead the one-on-one interview.

Bell-McKoy plans to speak with Winfrey about her journey in Baltimore, structural and institutional barriers, career equity, and creating and maintaining authentic relationships.

The online session will take place November 30 at 6:30 pm.

Bell-McKoy joins Dr. Kaye to discuss the upcoming event.
