(Baltimore, MD) -- Ivan Bates is officially accepting the Democratic nomination for Baltimore City State's Attorney.
The prominent defense attorney and former city prosecutor secured 40 percent of the vote, leading embattled incumbent Marilyn Mosby by eleven points.
Bates accepted the nomination at his campaign headquarters this morning, surrounded by his family, friends and supporters.
