Eroding History tells the story of two Black communities on Deal Island, on Maryland’s Eastern Shore, that are finding themselves at the intersection of sea level rise, historic racism, and the disappearance of Black communities.

Sean Yoes is the co-writer and co-producer of the film.

He is also veteran journalist and the founder of the Leslie Maureen Yoes Institute for Journalism.

Yoes joins Dr. Kaye to discuss his new film, Black displacement, and the power of centering Black voices.
