Former Brooklyn Center, Minn., police officer Kim Potter

(WEAA)—Jury selection began Tuesday for former Minneapolis police officer, Kim Potter who is charged with manslaughter in the death of Daunte Wright, a 20-year-old Black motorist.

Potter says she meant to use her Taser on Wright when he pulled away from officers but drew her handgun instead.
