BALTIMORE (WEAA) — Baltimore City State's Attorney Marilyn Mosby joins Two Way Talk to discuss the arrest in the homicide of 69-year-old Evelyn Player.

Baltimore police say 62-year-old Manzie Smith Jr. is charged with first-degree murder and other offenses in the death of Ms. Player.

Police say, on Nov. 16, she was found stabbed to death in a bathroom at Southern Baptist Church on N. Chester Street shortly after she let contractors into the building for renovations.

Police Commissioner Michael Harrison says Smith was identified as a suspect in the case based on evidence collected on the scene.
