The Justice Department has closed its investigation into the 1955 lynching of Emmett Till.

Officials reopened the investigation after a historian stated in a book that Carolyn Bryant Donham, a white woman, admitted she lied when she said Till grabbed her and made sexually suggestive remarks.

Federal officials said there was not enough evidence to pursue charges.

Sheryl Wood, former federal prosecutor, owner and founder of The Wood Law Firm joins Two Way Talk to provide insight into the investigation and why the case was closed.
