Cheryl Toussaint, of Brooklyn, New York won a silver medal in the 4x400 relay during the 1972 Summer Olympics in Munich, Germany.

In 1987, she founded Tousse Running Apparel and in 2015, she became the meet director for the Colgate Women's Games, the nation’s longest running track series for girls.
