WEAA's Julius White has the local news.

Howard County lawmakers have introduced a bill that would make their jurisdiction a 'sanctuary' county. The county will hear public testimony on the measure on January 17. And, Baltimore County Police Chief Jim Johnson has revised the department’s policy for keeping evidence related to second degree rapes and sexual assaults, in response to criticism last fall over the way some Maryland police departments handle rape and sexual assault cases.
