WEAA's Julius White has the local news.

Governor Larry Hogan is rescinding the appointment of Gary Brown Jr. to the Maryland House of delegates. Brown Jr. is a former legislative aide to Catherine Pugh, and has been indicted on charges of violating state campaign finance laws. And in other news regarding the mayor, Pugh says negations are nearly complete on the U.S. Department of Justice consent decree, aiming to reform the Baltimore police department. Pugh says the goal is to have an agreement in place this week.
