There were protests against Trump's travel restrictions at airports across the country on Sunday. According to the Baltimore Sun, at least two thousand people protested at BWI. Congressman Elijah Cummings was in attendance, saying, “our democracy is in danger of being hijacked.” And, Maryland lawmakers are preparing to offer proposals on legalizing marijuana. One measure would regulate production for adults; another would enact taxes on the drug. Supporters of legalization are expected to discuss the measures today in Annapolis. Marijuana was decriminalized in Maryland in 2014 but users caught with it can still be fined.
