Baltimore Mayor Catherine Pugh is condemning President Trump's executive order on immigration. In a statement, Pugh said that Trump’s order banning refugees from entering the U.S. “does not reflect the principles and core values of the America I know.” She reiterated that Baltimore is and will remain a ‘welcoming city,’ where all people are treated with dignity and respect. The Baltimore Office of Promotion and the Arts is seeking applications from artists and community members to participate in light city 2017, which takes place in March.
