WEAA's Julius White has the local news.

A group called Communities United Against Hate launched yesterday in Montgomery County. The goals of the group include uniting a diverse community to combat bigotry and promote inclusiveness. The group has created a hotline where people can find out what to do if they see or experience a potential hate crime, and stand up against it. Maryland Attorney general Brian Frosh says that the effort is the right response to the hatred.
