Two former Baltimore police officers are now awaiting sentencing after pleading guilty in a federal corruption case. Detectives Evodio Hendrix and Maurice Ward pled guilty to racketeering charges in separate hearings on Friday in U.S. District Court.  The officers and five other members of the city's Gun Trace Task Force were indicted in February.  They were accused of making false arrests, robbing people, altering arrest reports and submitting bogus overtime claims. Hendrix and Ward each face seven to nine years in prison when they are sentenced next February.
