Baltimore County Police investigate a Lansdowne stabbing

Police responded to the 3800-block of Hollins Ferry Road for a stabbing around 6:30 p.m on April  21. Police located the victim suffering from a stab wound to the upper body. Alexander Maradiaga-Valleciyo, 44, of the 2900-block of Freeway, 21227, was transported to a local hospital where he is expected to survive his injuries.

The subsequent investigation determined that the victim and suspect were involved in an argument after getting out of the truck, in the parking lot of the Speedy Mart on Hollins Ferry Road. The suspect stabbed the victim and then ran from the area. Detectives are actively investigating this crime and believe that this is an isolated incident.
