Baltimore's City Council President is calling for a hearing on water outages like the one that's affected Poe Homes.  Brandon Scott introduced a resolution at Monday's council meeting saying it is unacceptable for residents to be without water for such a long period of time and he is concerned that water outage protocols are missing, lacking or not being followed.

The resolution calls on personnel from the departments of health, public works, housing, parks and other agencies to discuss protocols and best practices to help residents who lose water service. Baltimore City DPW spokesman Jeffrey Raymond talked with WEAA"s Mornings with Mykel about the efforts to restore water service to the 281 residents of the Poe Homes Public Housing Community.
