Former Pastor sentenced in sexual assault case involving teen

A former Baltimore County pastor will be looking at life through prison bars for the next 90 days after he was sentenced to assault and sex offense charges. Cameron Giovanelli, the onetime pastor of the Calvary Baptist Church in Dundalk was sentenced on Monday after pleading guilty to charges last month.  According to police documents, the 42-year-old Giovanelli sexually assaulted a 17-year-old girl on church property, at her grandparents home and in his car in 2007. Following his prison time Giovanelli must serve five years of supervised probation.
