(BALTIMORE, MD) Baltimore officials say 21 people were injured after an explosion in downtown Baltimore Wednesday morning.
Baltimore Mayor Brandon Scott released a statement saying, an explosion ignited a fire near the top of the BGE building on West Fayette Street near North Liberty Street.
Terrifying images show workers hanging from a scaffolding on the side of the building.
A 2nd alarm was called to help fight a fire on the 16th floor.
Officials say, nine people are in critical condition and one person is in serious condition.
A total of 23 people were rescued during this incident.
No word yet on what caused the explosion.
