BALTIMORE, MD (WEAA) —Maryland health officials are reporting 1,205 new coronavirus infections within the past 24 hours.
Data shows, 13 more virus-related deaths have been recorded since Tuesday morning. More than 8,400 people have died from COVID-19 in Maryland.
Officials say, 1,279 patients are currently hospitalized due to complications from the virus.
Governor Larry Hogan announced walk-up vaccinations at the Baltimore Convetion Center will begin Thursday, April 22 but will only be offered to Baltimore City residents.
According to data, Maryland providers have administered more than 4 million COVID-19 vaccines.

The state ranks 12th in the nation for vaccinating its total population.
Gov. Hogan held a press conference Wednesday afternoon to update Marylanders on the state's vaccination efforts.
