Heartscape with Cari K. is shining the spotlight on local heroes and entrepreneurs who are striving to make a positive impact in their communities and beyond.

(WEAA) –Black Girls Dive Foundation is a unique non-profit that combines science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) with scuba lessons. 

The Maryland-based program which was founded in 2017, now expands across the country with chapters in New Jersey and Georgia. 

 Co-founder Dr. Nevada Winrow and board member Dwayne Johnson share the inspiration behind the organization and how they are breaking down cultural barriers for Black girls and women.
