(WEAA)—Baltimore television personality Traffic Jam Jimmy has passed away.
FOX 45 News announced James Uhrin passed away Saturday morning at the age of 65.
He died from a heart attack.
Uhrin started working at the local news station in 1976 as Mondy the Sea Monster on the “Captain Chesapeake” show and in recent years became popular for his morning traffic reports while driving around Maryland.
Co-workers, fans, and public officials took to social media to express their condolences.
