Several Baltimore Homes To Be Torn Down Following Sinkhole

(Baltimore, MD) -- Several homes in East Baltimore have to be torn down after a sinkhole opened up and ruined their structural integrity.

Mayor Brandon Scott held a press conference this afternoon, along North Avenue.

He says the affected properties, between Greenmount and Homewood avenues, need to be demolished as soon as possible.

The area, near the 700 block of North Avenue, will be closed until further notice.
