(Baltimore Co., MD) -- The Baltimore County Police Department is launching a new "safe space" initiative for the LGBTQIA+ community.
It provides Safe Space decals to community members, businesses, schools and other organizations to display.
The sign lets members of the LGBTQIA+ community know it's a safe place to call police if they've become a victim of a hate crime.
The decals are free of charge.
