The 86th Winter meeting of the U.S. Conference of Mayors is underway this week in Washington, D.C., to address the state of America’s cities.
The conference is a 3-day gathering of more than 300 of the nation’s mayors to engage Congressional members, as well as civil rights, business and community leaders to explore innovative solutions for the issues facing American cities today--such as infrastructure, violence reduction and the opioid addiction crisis. Baltimore Mayor Catherine Pugh talked with WEAA’s Julius White about some of her concerns at the conference.
