(BALTIMORE, MD) Governor Larry Hogan and State Superintendent Dr. Karen Salmon are calling on Maryland school systems to return to in-person hybrid learning no later than Monday, March 1.
The governor says, “There is no public health reason for county school boards to be keeping students out of schools".

The governor held a press conference Thursday afternoon to provide counties with additional protocols and education design recommendations.

Dr. Salmon says, parents and families who wish to continue virtual learning should have the option to do so.
