(BALTIMORE, MD) Morgan State University President Dr. David Wilson was so captivated by inaugural poet Amanda Gorman, he offered her a job on Twitter.
The president tweeted, “ Ms. Gorman, I need you as as our Poet-in-Residence at the National Treasure, Morgan State University. Outstanding!!!

The 22-year-old Los Angelos native, recited a powerful poem, “The Hill We Climb” during President Joe Biden’s inauguration.
She is the country's first National Youth Poet Laureate.
