BALTIMORE, MD (WEAA) —Maryland health officials say the state’s COVID-19 positivity rate has dropped below 3% for the first time since October 2020.
Maryland is reporting more than 5.3 million COVID-19 vaccinations. According to records, 64.8% of adults have received at least one dose of the vaccine.
Data shows, 399 positive cases have been added within 24 hours, one day after the state reported its fewest new cases.

Eight more coronavirus -related deaths have been reported.
Virus-related hospitalizations remain below 800 and are down 59% from their winter peak.
More than 83,000 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Marylanders between the ages of 20-29.
More than 77,700 cases have been confirmed in Marylanders ages 30-39.
