(Baltimore, MD) -- Members of the Baltimore City Council say they're concerned with the planned creation of a police force at Johns Hopkins University.

At a virtual town hall meeting last night to discuss a memorandum of understanding with Baltimore Police, council members said they were concerned that there's not enough transparency in the process.

More than 50 people participated in the forum, in which members of the community questioned the planned jurisdictions of the police force and how they would affect nearby residential areas.

Officials with Hopkins countered the criticism and said the process has been more transparent than other processes.
