(WEAA)—Robert Shahid honors the legacy of Martin Luther King, Jr. by highlighting the remarkable story of Jeff Drew, son of a couple who provided shelter to Dr. King during his visits to Birmingham.

Drew, now 72 years old, not only grew up in the resilient community of "Dynamite Hill," known for bombings aimed at instilling fear in black families, but he also continues to reside there.

During this captivating interview, Drew shares his intimate encounters with "Uncle Martin", describes the vision he witnessed in Dr. King's eyes, and recollects the challenges he faced during his upbringing amidst the civil rights movement.
