On Wednesday April 13, more than 12 of Baltimore's 2016 Mayoral candidates graced the stage of the War Memorial on Gay Street for the Stoop Stories Mayoral Show.
Despite vying for the honor of being the next mayor of Baltimore, the candidates good-naturedly put aside their politics and told the raw and original stories of their very first job.
The rules were simple: "no campaigning!"
The audience learned where each participant came from: there was a teller, a UPS driver, an army recruit, a receipt tallier, a fireman, a radio DJ, a teacher, a greasy spoon fry cook, a janitor, a lawn guy, a banquet bartender, a supermarket clerk, and a stock girl. Who knew?
Listen to the rebroadcast of these stories at 3pm on Friday, April 22. On WEAA 88.9 FM.
